The Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) program is designed to produce proficient, compassionate, committed, and ethical assistant-level practitioners and consultants.
In this certificate program, you will learn how to use ABA to find solutions to difficult or complex behavioural issues. You will learn how to use evidence-based practices to help clients improve what is important to them. You will also learn how to inform your practice by staying current with the most recent research findings.
Our goal is to create skilled and educated professionals that meet the needs of their communities across the globe by providing high-quality courses. Courses are taught by Board Certified Behaviour Analysts with a diverse range of clinical and research expertise.
A Certified Behavior Technician-Level I (CBT-LI®) is a nationally recognized paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. CBTs assist in areas such as delivering direct behavior-analytic services, aiding in implementing behavior plans which are developed by theCertified Behavior Analyst Supervisors (CBA-S) or Certified Behavior Analyst Assistants (CBA-A), and collecting data.
Completing this 40 hour course covering the AAC task list is required in order to apply for certification.
Please note: To align with the AAC’s requirements for the 40 hour CBT training, “The cumulative duration of your training must be at least 40 hours. The training must be completed within a 180-day period and in no less than a 5-day period and training is provided by a certified American Autism Council Education Provider (AACEP) .” For more information please see the
A Certified Behavior Technician Level II (CBT-LII®) signifies an advanced role as a lead behavior technician with specialized training in leadership and assessment techniques. Their role extends beyond standard practice, involving the facilitation of behavior-analytic services under the close guidance of Certified Behavior Analyst Supervisors (CBA-S) and/or Certified Behavior Analyst Assistants (CBA-A). This certification level denotes a higher proficiency and responsibility in executing and refining behavioral interventions.
Certified Behavior Analyst-Assistant (CBA-A®) certifications are intended to help protect vulnerable populations. Certification by the American Autism Council Board is voluntary and, in addition to licensure, Behavior analyst professionals electing certification agree to adhere to a code of ethics, certain practice requirements, and disciplinary measures.
Demand for analysts with CBA-A certification has significantly increased every year. CBA-A is a nationally recognized paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. a bachelor’s degree or higher from a program accredited by the council is requierd, must have compleated CBT-LI and CBT-LII succesfuly, Completing this 120 hour course covering the AAC task list and you must also have completed 500 hours of supervised fieldwork.

The American Autism Council Education Provider (AACEP) must be an active CBT-S with no disciplinary sanctions who has been certified for a least two years and meets the ongoing supervision CEU requirement. The education provider should have an established history of providing high-quality supervision to trainees and must complete an 8=12-hour supervision training before providing any services.
